I'm a certified trichologist with the International Association of Trichologists, and my passion for hair and scalp health is deeply personal. Having naturally porous hair that’s prone to damage and with a family history of scalp conditions like seborrheic dermatitis, I’ve seen how frustrating these challenges can be.
I started my career in the high-tech industry, but my fascination with medicine, body systems, and the human organism—combined with my drive to help others—led me to trichology. Over the years, I’ve learned how hair care technology and the right ingredients can restore balance and health to the hair and scalp. Now, I use that knowledge to help others regain confidence in their hair.
My goal is to bridge science and self-care, empowering people with the knowledge and tools to improve their hair and scalp health. Whether you're dealing with hair loss, scalp conditions, or just looking for a better routine, I'm here to guide you every step of the way.
I offer longer, more detailed consultations (up to 60–90 minutes)
I offer a more natural, holistic approach—focusing on early intervention, root-cause analysis, and personalized treatment plans that avoid harsh medications
I carefully analyze your health, diet, medications, and hair care routines to uncover underlying issues that could be affecting your hair and scalp. Using a 5x magnifying lamp and a 50–100x microscope, I perform a detailed examination of your scalp and hair follicles to assess any damage or conditions that may be present.
I believe in educating my clients, empowering you to make informed decisions and manage your hair and scalp health in the long term.
A Full Trichological Examination is a detailed consultation and scalp analysis to assess your hair and scalp health. Using a trichoscope (a digital microscope magnifying up to 700x), I examine your scalp, hair follicles, and strands to identify any concerns like hair loss, breakage, or scalp conditions. I take a holistic approach, considering factors such as medical history, medications, lifestyle, nutrition, stress levels, and hair care routine. My goal is to educate you on potential causes and provide personalized solutions. Together, we’ll explore the best options to restore and maintain healthy hair.
A Hair Care Consultation is a personalized session designed to help you select the right hair products and build an effective routine based on your unique hair needs. I analyze your hair porosity, density, and texture, then assess your current products to determine if they align with your goals. Based on your scalp and hair condition and budget, I research and recommend the best shampoos, conditioners, masks and leave-ins, focusing on ingredient efficacy rather than marketing claims. You'll receive a customized product plan with clear guidance on how to use each item for optimal results, ensuring a routine that truly works for you.
Light-based therapies use specific wavelengths of light to target hair and scalp concerns. Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) / Red Light Therapy stimulates hair follicles, increasing blood flow, reducing inflammation, and promoting hair growth in conditions like androgenetic alopecia. It enhances cellular activity, helping strengthen weak or dormant follicles. UV Therapy, on the other hand, is primarily used for scalp conditions like psoriasis, as it slows down the overactive immune response, reduces inflammation, and minimizes excessive skin cell production. Both therapies are non-invasive and can be effective in improving scalp health and hair regrowth.

Trichology is the scientific study of the hair and scalp in regards to its disorders and diseases. It stems from the Greek word ‘trichos’, meaning ‘hair’.
A trichologist specializes in all matters relating to hair and scalp health. They provide a prognosis, identify, and help treat all forms of hair loss, hair shaft, and scalp disorders. Trichologists are often the first to recognize early signs of internal imbalances that manifest through the hair and scalp.
During a consultation, a trichologist will conduct a comprehensive assessment, which includes a detailed health and lifestyle history, as well as a scalp and hair analysis using a specialized microscope. This allows for a clearer understanding of the issue and helps determine the most suitable treatment plan. If the underlying cause of the condition lies outside the trichologist’s scope, they will refer the client to the appropriate medical professionals, such as dermatologists, endocrinologists, or primary care physicians.
While trichologists are not typically licensed healthcare providers, they have in-depth knowledge of body systems, hormonal health, nutrition, genetics, product chemistry, and environmental factors that can influence hair and scalp conditions.
Trichologists gain their qualifications by completing a trichology certification program. I received my certification through the International Association of Trichologists (IAT)—a globally recognized and respected institution in the field.
A trichologist helps people who have problems with their hair or scalp. A person may complain of sudden excessive hair loss from all over the scalp, a bald patch which has suddenly appeared, or itching and excessive scaling of the scalp. You don’t have to have a hair problem to consult a trichologist: many people choose to do so because they want advice on keeping their hair and scalp in tip top condition and so reduce the risk of hair loss.
Dermatologists are valuable medical professionals, but they often:
Before your appointment, you’ll complete an extensive questionnaire covering your medical history, lifestyle, diet, medications, hair care routine, and family history of hair or scalp conditions. This helps us gain a comprehensive understanding of the factors that may be influencing your hair and scalp health.
During the consultation, a trichologist will discuss your concerns in detail and perform a thorough scalp examination using both a 10x magnifying lamp and a specialized microscope (50x–100x magnification). These tools allow for a close-up view of your scalp, follicles, and hair shafts to help identify any underlying issues.
Based on the findings, your trichologist will explain what’s going on and recommend the most suitable treatment options or next steps tailored to your specific needs.
